Urbanistic solution covers an area in close distance from the Masaryk Square, where the effort is to offer housing in the newly designed residential district. Diploma thesis also contains a design for completion and increase of capacity of the social services complex which is adjacent to the park by Saint Josef Chapel. This park is a part of the urbanistic design as well. The studied area is bordered by the streets of Újezd, Dobrovského, Dvořákova, Klvaňova, Brandlova and Palackého třída. Residential Complex in Brno - Komín
Vrabcová, Anežka ; Kyselka, Mojmír (referee) ; Makovský, Zdeněk (advisor)
The proposed residential complex is situated in the town district Brno – Komín. The proposed place is located in a complex of other family houses with numerous family life possibilities. The residential complex relates well with the environment which is attractive for families with children. The supporting idea of the general conception is to utilize the counter-line character of the building estate and use a gentle rotation in order to achieve as beautiful lookouts in each property as possible. The proposal consists of three types of family houses. Terraced houses are situated in the lowest part of the building estate and they are followed by two types of atrial houses distributed throughout a gentle slope. These continue until the foothill, on which a villa is located with a unique lookout in the surroundings. The project is a continuation of a tiny neighboring estate of regular family buildings, it however retains its own conception without disturbing the character of the surrounding landscape.

Tomický, Ondřej ; Šubrt, Jan (referee) ; Dulenčín, Juraj (advisor) ; Hradil, Dušan (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I further develop the architectural design I worked out during the fifth semester, at the subject AG034. My work was led by Ing. arch. Marcela Uřídilová. Now, I have elaborated the study led by doc. Ing. arch. Juraj Dulenčín, Ph.D., and Ing. Dušan Hradil, on the level of Documentation for building permit, and subsequently on the level of Documentation for Construction Execution. The theme of this work is the design of a multifunctional town house in a gap site between two existing buildings in Hlinky street in Brno. The 9.4-meter-wide gap is in a street with terraced houses, right next to the public transport stop, opposite the main entrance to the Brno Exhibition Center. The house has one basement and five above-ground floors, is based on a foundation slab and finished with a flat roof. It has a longitudinal wall construction system; the load is transmitted by reinforced concrete monolithic walls and ceilings. The house creates a height transition between both adjoining buildings. In the basement is located the technical facilities of the whole building, on the ground floor there is the main and secondary entrance, entrance for cars and the access to the parking stackers with eight parking places. On the 2nd floor is located a studio and office with a common hall. The 3rd, 4th and 5th floors contains two luxury maisonettes. The common partition between both apartments is located on the 4th floor. Across the entire height of the house pervades the inner core of vertical routes - staircase and elevator. The main mass of the house is aligned between adjoining buildings. On the south side, the last fifth floor is lightly indented from the street. On the north side, a mass of the space parking protrudes from the main mass of the building into the slope of Žlutý kopec. Because the building plot is enclosed by adjoining houses on two sides, the only free facades are oriented to the south and to the north.
Multifunctional Building Brno
Bařinová, Anna ; Drobníček, Ladislav (referee) ; Menšíková, Naděžda (advisor) ; Sobotka, Jindřich (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis deals with technical drawings of Multifunctional building in Brno. The aim is to design an apartment building consisting of residential apartments in the sloping area between two streets - Novolíšeňská and Josefy Faimonové in Brno - Líšeň. The proposal follows the contours of the slope and its floors are terraced beneath each other. On the top of the slope from Novolíšeňská street there is proposed a garage and a bakery with café. These two buildings would be unified with a facade made of the expanded metal sheets (with a climbing greenery), which eliminates the harmful effects from a neighboring road. In the terraces, there would be situated residential containers, which would lie on the reinforced slabs and the gabion walls (behind the walls there is proposed a storage space). The complex would consist of two volumes with the residential containers. Between the volumes, there is designed a space with the exterior residential steps. The 3 types of flats were designed: one-bedroom flat, two-bedroom flat and three-bedroom flat.
